User Interface Ducky
# Yesterday I installed the default GUI, Gnome 3, and it is not a good match.
# Gnome 3 problems
# - Does not seem to display everything on the resricted real estate of
# the netbook screen;
# - Could not get it to configure two screens at the same time, the resident
# would go black with no way to recover it;
# - running YouTube in fullscreen mode was very slow and chunky,
# both audio and video;
# - It is attempting to look like a tablet, I really dislike the look and feel;
# - Launching an already open application did not launch a new window,
# rather it took me to the already open window;
# It looks like the Debian installer no longer provides alternate
# desktops options.
# Using istructions based upon
#
#
# apt-get -y install xfce4 # base package
# apt-get -y install xfce4-goodies

apt-get -y install xfce4* # all of the xfce suite
# lots of stuff installing
