Current Status:

• Have existing RC model with no feedback.
• Corporate paperwork has probably lapsed?
• Domain name valid until 2006-05?
• Transferred honeywell sensors from Dave Stalke to Dave O'Gorman.
• Phil Talyor is also interested in getting sensors working.
• O'Gorman also has boat model.
• Status on radio modems?
• Some years ago Robert Williams(son?) was interested in building a prototype on a 2 meter(?) racing sailboat.
• Some years ago Don Boyd was interested in mechanical aspects.
• Need feedback

Revival:

• The model has been acting as advertizing.
• 2 EEs are now interested in the control sensors for the model.
• A soon to be PI has an application for the AutoSail and will soon be writing grants. He is interested in academic / business collaberation.

What now?:

• Reincorporate:
• How does old corporation affect new corporation?
• Officers?
• Shareholders?
• Business Model:
• Full time vs spare time
• Filter all grants through PI at institution set up for federal grant accounting.
• Need control / shore unit.
• Control Sensors:
• Sail positions
• Wind direction
• Boat direction
• User interface.
• Communications Protocol.

Future Considerations:

• Initial target size of platform:
• Scale model up to pickup bed size;
• Use small racing sailboat;
• Something different
